      Not a Real Bank

      Pros

      Very little to say on a positive end. Worked for other banks by far the worst bank. Pay is horrible long hours I was offered a promotion after 8 months of employment. The increase in salary did not match the increase in responsibilities. Branch Manager was never around its like he did not exist. Branch managers would receive a six figure salary for going to meetings and never show up on weekends. The whole structure was a joke At one point I worked 11 days in a row including weekends. all the pressure would be put on the assistant branch managers and they would only make half the salary as the Branch manager.

      Cons

      They run the place like a gap retail store instead of a bank. Sorry lollipops and free pens wont attract business in a market like NewYork

      Pros

      There are lots of retail locations so the opportunity to work somewhere close to home is available.

      Cons

      The bureaucracy makes it difficult to do some things. LIke dress down fridays for charity. Some branches could do it while others could not.
