Pros

TD is very focused on the growth of their employees. There is a lot of support in the form of training, career and professional development tools as well as support for personal development and issues. Pay is competitive with other large banks.

Cons

As far as a place to work, TD does not have a lot of cons. It is a big company though and depending on the area that you work in you may run into poor middle managers.

Pros

Overall it was a good stepping stone but not a long term career path. Good at vacation and time off (exception being RRSP season)

Cons

There is absolutely NO room for advancement unless you are in Toronto and even then it was hard to do unless you are apart of the "group". No additional education provided only that what was relevant to the job - CSC, IFIC, PFPC. Again its a stepping stone so get in and get out with some experience. Look for a corporation that has multiple divisions vs straight retail.
