Pros

Worked with some great team members. Some systems are very efficient!

Cons

Terrible management to say the least ( This varies with every branch) Sales pressure that’s very unethical! You will be forced to sell mutual funds even when it’s not suitable for clients. They put the company first instead of clients. (e.g. explaining to management why you didn’t sell mutual funds to a 71 year old client who has never had mutual funds in his life, very conservative client who has health concerns & not sure if he’ll make it to a 1-year maturity of a GIC) If you are a genuine advisor who want to build long lasting relationships with your clients, this might not be a place for you. You will be pushed to do questionable things. You will be micromanaged, you might end up getting actual PTSD.

Pros

Compensation and Benefits are comparable to the industry.

Cons

Our data and databases are horrible. We do not have concise data structure. Managements sets unrealistic deadlines, and expectations. There is a heavy workload always, and there is not much of a work life balance. You might have to work weekends. Bad business etiquette by co-workers that are only concerned about themselves and not co-workers who are swamped. Empty promises set by HR during the offer phase. I need a job to live, but hopefully I will find another job soon.

Pros

Great benefits and that’s really it.

Cons

They treat the contact center employees good in training than after you hit the floor it’s a different story. You get told not to call out but you have a lot of sick time to use before the year is up you can only carry over 40 hours. They customers are always rude and their surveys if they are bad you it affects your metrics badly.
