Lack of decision making by upper management. Willing to let go of experienced personel to obtain cheaper labor. Lack of communication - yet upper management excels at talking about nothing or in circles yet never addresses a direct question. Micromanagement - badge tracking system (are we in jail?) Employees leaving in droves Company advised only mid managers and higher are going to receive bonus pay. New building that is shiny and pretty but everyone inside of it is miserable.

My mother passed away on my first day of work, completely unexpectedly. I called my manager. She said I could have 3 days of bereavement leave. I repeated that my MOTHER died. I had to fight HR to get an additional 5 days of *half days* of work. On day 29, my manager called and said I hadn’t finished the first 30 days of training. I reminded them that I had taken off some time when I started and that my mother had recently died. On day 30 I was fired for non compliance. During my 30 days of employment, I encountered some of the most dismal, heartless corporate bastards that I’ve ever met. I was impressed at the level of indifference and lack of compassion.
