Pros
1. My personal management are great people. They’re involved in my life professionally and personally to help me grow in my field 2. Benefits are pretty good in terms of health, vision and dental. The give 200% matching for 401k. So if you give 3% you get 6%, they don’t match more than that. Continuing off this, 401k matching roughly kicks in 1 month after signing, health benefits are pretty much immediate depends on how much time you need to fill out the paperwork. 3. Close to Bergen, Hudson and Essex counties if you’re commuting from there 4. If you show initiative and are willing to work longer hours (as a salaried employee I’ve worked Saturdays and Sundays) for your own personal projects that have potential you are given resources to accomplish them
Cons
1. Everything needs to be approved by Germany which can be a total pain for getting approvals for internal systems. 2. Some management can play favorites and it’s very obvious when promotion and bonus time comes around. 3. Chaos! When briefs are flying through the door sometimes the place runs like they have their heads cut off. This happens at all flavors/fragrance houses but here can be extreme.
