      Pros

      Generally good work atmosphere. Cares about employees. Your experience here (good or bad) really depends on what department you're in.

      Cons

      Can't seem to find its way; has gone in many directions over the years. Periods of high turnover especially in management. Understaffed in some areas. Top management in Germany is strictly traditional and male-dominated.

      Pros

      I had a long tenure at Symrise. Was given opportunities to develop expertise. A global company with strong R&D/Innovations investments.

      Cons

      Being global and headquartered in Germany, the culture can be challenging when working in the US. Compensation was not always leading the industry. Benefits were good.
