Great 401k match and vacation allowances including sabbatical at 10 years.

Cons

This company used to really care about employees and work/life balance. That has all changed with the new CEO. He is ruthless and only cares about his quest to be number 1 in profits. Customers and employees dare not step into his path. Teams are being gutted and bonuses have been slashed across the board by 20%+. Swiss Re turned a $3.2 billion profit in 2024 but this is somehow not enough. Corporate greed has taken over and the CEO is steering us right into the storm.

I can just think of one thing - just the work facility

Cons

Filled with selfish very cunning beings. The leadership team is the worst - they can neither take decisions nor own up to any decent decisions. They just keep delaying ideas and spread more toxic around. Oh there is one thing they all do very well - presurise to do things at the nth minute. And then they have the audacity to judge people saying shirty job.

Pay is under industry average. Bonus’s have been decreasing these past few years, even though my annual reviews were excellent. Very little opportunity for advancement. The global “one size fits all” strategy doesn’t work in every market. HR is a nightmare to get a hold of. It’s all about budget and cost savings. Talented people are leaving, older employees are not valued and many forced out this past year. Employees are not being replaced due to budget. It was a great company to work for 10 years ago, but not anymore. Poor work-life balance.
