Good compensation package, interesting people, proactivity will bring you forward, having a good work-life-balance is supported by the company, great food!

Cons

Too many reorganisations, blaming culture, many changes on senior management level, only few senior managers with true leadership skills, networking is essential, too many political mechanisms that cannot be influenced, complex hierarchy, too many mid-level managers

good work and social life balance, good benefits. Appears that senior management actually values employees input and typically results in change.

Cons

- Wish that all employees were required to work in a office - Company philosophy is to stay trim by keeping a low employee head count. Alot of work is also contracted out to 3rd party vendors. -

Swiss Re is a leader in the reinsurance industry with many dedicated and knowledgeable employees. This makes working at Swiss Re interesting and provides daily opportunities to learn and grow. There is a real interest in employee development. The atmosphere is professional yet collegial providing a chance to work with a global team.

Cons

The only downside of working at Swiss Re, from my perspective, is the time it takes to make changes.
