Pros

good work life balance flexibility of work

Cons

most leaders are specialists in marketing only, they sell "dreams" to other senior leaders trying to get funding for the next year, most of those projects sold as dreams dont take off very well and the employees suffer burnout under bad apples and conflicted women managers who cannot be complained against since they are women! no gain in knowledge from the work done when the last years sold dreams dont take off, newer stories and newer dreams are build around them to showcase change of objective to yet another more ambitious dream, only to keep the show running until the higher leaders have progressed or rotated into their next target role/function overall this company and its shareholders will pay a huge price for hiring incompetent women leaders

Pros

I enjoy working here, I've been here 10 years. However most, team leads/managers are great to work for. D&I is kind of getting better (but meetings, presentations, etc about it are getting old), great collaboration with colleagues.

Cons

Pay is very low - small or no raises as you advance, bonuses are fixed unless you get promoted. Salary is MUCH lower than industry average. They used to justify this with benefit packages and Own the Way you Work. However, post pandemic that's not unique and our packages get worse every year. Upper management doesn't really interact with more junior employees. Depending on what department you are in or start in - there isn't as much room to grow as others.

Pros

1. Own the way you work policy is great 2. Senior leadership team has been really proactive in handling pandemic related challenges 3. The company really values and promotes inclusion and diversity 4. Good culture and work life balance 5. Quality of work is great from a learning perspective

Cons

1. Annual performance incentive (variable pay) is not revised on a yearly basis. This is the BIGGEST drawback. Even though the fixed pay gets revised annually, the variable remains the same for several years. So the variable component as a proportion of the overall pay keeps shrinking with time. Due to this reason, the actual salary revision % is lesser than the number communicated, because ONLY the fixed component changes. For example, if the increment is 7%, this means that fixed component changes by 7% but variable component changes by 0%. Hence, the actual revision to the gross pay would be somewhere around 5-6% depending on how big the variable component is. 2. Promotions and growth are slower compared to other global offices even if you have a great performance record. Due to this a lot of staff members relocate to other offices and come back after a few years as a senior leader
