Pros

I mostly enjoyed working there. Colleagues and store manager were great. Working there made me a better cook, and the discount was great.

Cons

Lot of turnover at regional manager level lead to inconsistencies in expectations. Sales associates don't benefit from monetary or product promotions, even though it's their hard work that leads to store success.

Pros

There is lots of great inventory Coworkers and Managers are great! If something comes up and you need to switch with a coworker its pretty easy to coordinate I work three days a week minimum It's a good side hustle to have while pursuing something else like college Employee discount on inventory which consists of high quality kitchen items Some creative outlet in drawing announcements about sales or new inventory on the blackboard we display outside the entrance of the store.

Cons

There is lots of inventory to get familiar with Work training that is online can only be done in store; this has resulted in me not doing a lot of it cause we tend to be busy with customers or changing displays It is a Corporate environment; it can be stressful, definitely more stressful than working at a locally owned business due to the many things (inventory, gift registry, online order, buy online pick up in store) that the store offers. I sincerely dislike most of the music playlist- I think it should stick to songs without lyrics because having to hear soulless corporate versions of indie songs is not my jam. I wish employees had control over which songs play rather than just access to the dial to turn the volume on or off. It'd be better if it was just lo-fi, cafe jazz, or acoustic music playing as a background.

Pros

It’s actually a really fun, you learn to cook, you can try leftovers (but they might change that) I once randomly made an omelette in the middle of my shift and no one noticed, pretty fun coworkers, your not just sitting there doing nothing

Cons

Shift length, pay for amount of work is ridiculous, they seem to be cracking down on some things,
