It’s was a fun job for retirees until it wasn’t.

Cons

One of the lowest paying job in Hyde Park Village. Very physical work. Corp management doesn’t care about employees & very high turnover. Don’t work here!

My store manager at the westwood location was supportive and hard working, Jorge was a great manager and salesperson and he made me into a great salesperson with a lifelong knowlege of cooking supplies

Cons

Unfortunately, corporate closed our location during the pandemic. The building is still vacant to this day.

Cons

Some customers are very entitled and rude. Corporate management micromanages and is inconsistent. Some store employees get away with not following the rules. Hourly wage is not competitive or compensatory.
