Need lots of culinary tool knowledge because there isn't much training.

Great discount at 40% on non-sale items. Great customers - people just love being in the store and are excited about their purchases.

Cons

Not enough hours. They hire plenty of staff and hours can go as low as 4 per week.

My hopes were high, but my opinion of this store's management is low.

Pros

The discount is great if you want to spend your low pay. The managers encourage you to spend money in the store by asking "What are you going to purchase first?" The products are fun and the clientele will usually provide a nice experience.

Cons

Very little training. You are encouraged to study products at home during your time off. At this location upper management could learn a thing or two about treating people with respect. The top two managers don't seem to know what's going on. The other two which aren't called managers seem fine, but time will tell. I am one of the more mature people at this store and it seems more geared for the younger crowd due to compensation and the politics I've observed so far.

They expect you to sell and do not provide product info or relevant training. Very low salaries. No recognition or incentives for Jura sales. They treat you like crap.
