Going downhill FAST

Pros

40% discount; that's about it.

Cons

work your tail off and receive NO recognition, ridiculously low pay, work schedule that constantly changes with little notice and you must be available 24/7 365 for a maximum 16 hours a week. No training yet expectations to achieve sales goals. Nasty customers who complain and the company does nothing to support the employees. Rude customers are rewarded while excellent employees are bashed. Company direction changes with the wind and is heading downhill fast.

Pros

The employee discount is generous... another pro would be that clocking in was technologically easy. That's it.

Cons

There is no training plan. The expectation is set that you're supposed to be able to sell a $900 pot set or $2000 espresso machine but there is very little training on the product itself. How would someone sell something they know nothing about?? Another con would be that there is a serious lack in teamwork and team cohesiveness. No team-building exercises and there is a serious lack in morale. No fun at all. They over staff which means that there are very few hours to be given. Is this a way to keep everyone super part time and not have to pay for benefits? That would be my guess.

Pros

Employee discount is awesome! My co- workers were a lot of fun to work with.

Cons

Pay could be better. Training was terrible that was one of the reasons I left the company. They expect you to make all these coffee sales but they don't put much effort into training you on the products so you can make the sales. District manger was a micro manager.
