Pros

Many of the people I worked with were wonderful, hard working and collaborative. 1 day a week in office was perfect, great office culture, fun events. It's not in a great location (Georgetown) for public transit, but they do provide free parking.

Cons

Pay is not competitive for the amount of work. Expensive and terrible Health Insurance options. Unlimited PTO, but in my role it was impossible to take a full week off without needing to work OT the week before and after. I never was able to take more than 2 days off at a time. There are some teams that are incredible to work with, but there are teams that are incredibly unpleasant, toxic and will make your life hell.

Working with, interacting with, & teaching guests that have a very real interest in learning how to cook is a great part of the job!

Cons

Unrealistic expectations to control food cost when everything is purchased at retail prices. Responsibilities are greater that what the position calls for.
