Great training facilities and succession planning, good bonus structure, forever changing to the needs of its customers and a nice place to work.

Cons

The company will cut costs to ensure a future for all employees and as with any retail business the salaried staff have to compensate for this but in retail this is to be expected.

I have worked for Superdrug for just over six years, previously as a Pharmacy Manager and now in a field based role. I have been lucky enough to have great support in my development including pre -registration tutor training, internal and external leadership programmes, regional workshops, service development training, and was even supported to complete the independent prescribing course. The beauty of working for Superdrug is that the company is big enough to support new ventures and exciting ideas, but small enough for you to have a close working relationship with your superiors. If you have drive, ambition, and a love of innovation then this is the company for you!

Cons

Competition for places! You need to show your worth through hard work and delivering results.

Pros

I have worked in both store and head office and its always been about the people in this business. You work hard - you get rewarded. Progression is the best in this business - you can work your way up from a sales advisor to a buyer if you like. Its down to you!

Cons

in store - the working hours are long, sometimes antisocial depending on store.
