Pros

Management is not only very supportive but humble and honest about their own limitations. The culture is goal oriented and you are expected to call a spade a spade versus keep quiet and go with the flow. Employees/co-workers very motivated and collaborative. No one is on the roof as they say. Management has routinely showed they are willing to go the extra mile for Diversity and Inclusion. They've also been working on helping the broader online creator community with the Creator Diversity Program.

Cons

Being fully remote with people around the world means sometimes you have to adjust your schedule. However, I've found management is amazing about flexible working hours.

Pros

The work conditions at StreamElements are pretty awesome. The atmosphere between developers is friendly, respectful and often even straight our funny. The diverse developers are located all around the globe and reflect a good mix of mankind. The R&D department uses state of the art internet technologies and experience is openly shared between all members. New technologies and personal expertise can be brought in and is well received and appreciated by the entire team. The team makes sure everyone is well integrated while giving lots of freedom in the design and development process, leaving room for personal development.

Cons

As a start-up, StreamElements has not as well defined protocols and standards as some more established companies. This can be challenging for people who need exact guidance and rules to follow, but can also be a chance for driven and passionate developers who can and want to design & develop highly scalable and maintainable services the way they want to using their favorite technologies.
