Pros

Engagement in company activities is encouraged. Committees are a good way to participate and network with people from other departments. Time off is not usually an issue. Managers are helpful.

Cons

Policies: New policies are terribly communicated and seemingly change with the wind. Managers try to keep up but sometimes it’s also news to them, and you may or may not be told about them. You’ll likely find out while working a deal. A new rule pops up staring you in the face, begging for attention (clearance). I’m sorry, have we met? Didn’t think so. Performance and Pay: The pressure to perform absolutely does not match the pay. Recent changes have led to micromanaging at its finest which leads to unhappy, frustrated employees and rifts between subordinate and manager that didn’t previously exist. How is one to deliver white glove service in a pressure cooker while dining on a meal of stress and lost hope? This isn’t the exciting company I hired into. Employee requests for bonuses and commission continue to be ignored by management. A one dollar raise for high-achieving top talent offers no hope to the rest. This isn’t going to cut it. The natives are growing restless and morale is low. Payscale? What’s that? It’s all over the place is what it is. Compensation is well below industry standard. The position: The job is fast-paced, fun and encourages competition. I’m sure once this new company works out the kinks and survives certain growing pains it will be an unmatched force, promoting the best and encouraging the rest. But, for now, it’s “you’re on your own, kid”. The shining star that claims to be Stellantis simply isn’t….yet.
