Management never asks for rank and file employees.
Micromanaging is excessive; uses PCI compliance to micromanaging passed what it is legally obligated too.
Management takes advantage of loyal employees, by working them to death, changes LOBs last minute without your consent, but you have to change LOBs or you are out of a job.
No way to move up in the company
Gimicky and unethical recruiting methods where new hires must jump through hoops to obtain, and very few are ever able to reach.
Turnover rate is sky high; I wouldn't be surprised if it was a 97% rate.
Discipline is not mete out equivalently. If you are friends with management, you can bascially do whatever you want. All politics.
Clients have too much power in what Startek's operations, going so far as telling Startek what they can and cannot pay their employees.
Startek tells all employees they will get a pay raise for months in January, employees go through all the motions preparing for January, then Startek last-minute says there are no pay raises. But they waste so much month on the high turnover rate, but they can't give pay raises.
Loyal employees are capped at earnings. Also, twenty-five cents is a typical yearly raise, if that. They usually fight employees on this subject.
Terribly mismanaged company.
