Pros

The pay is good for a first WFH/customer service job, and being able to work from home is amazing! Getting VTO is also a big plus as a college student. Benefits are also pretty nice! The supervisors/coaches are also really chill and laidback.

Cons

Some of the coworkers are really weird, and you have to tell your boss when you're going to the bathroom. The software you have to use is also unreliable at best. It's constantly slow and breaks down, even when you're in the middle of a call. Getting PTO is also a slow process. You get 2 hours per pay period, and when you call out or something, it gets applied without your permission, which makes building it up a hassle.

Pros

To be able to work at home! Govt paid Holidays!

Plenty...#1 Hurting people call in for genuine assistance: CSR basically acts as a receptionist who can provide very little help except by the grace of those of us who care. We encounter people screaming at us and crying profusely with little or know assistance rather than read lines and lines of a BS script. No resolve here. Fine line as to what can be really be transferred; Hurting American People needing answers and this is where our tax dollars are going! I earnestly tried to help people get answers and give them a glimmer of hope. I was terminated... an employee that came to work on time and never missed a scheduled day and desperately wanted to help every caller. I was told that I had 5 failed calls over I think 90 days while taking a hundred or so calls a day. Failed means did not dispense BS to hurting people and in fact transferred these calls in hopes someone would look at record and finally do something for callers who had waited more than a year! Don't even ask what potential suicide protocol is if a caller expresses the desire...and yes they do sometimes! My heart hurts for everyone who has to call thru this agency! Literally no help for employees either but dispense our total BS or out!!! I wish more people would ban together and form a class action suit!!!
