Pros
There is a culture of customer-service and the company does it what it can to strengthen all of its "Brand Warriors" to be tops in customer service. If one wants to be an agent, and that is all they aspire to in the company, then this can be a great place to work. Desires for professional growth within the organization are usually stopped, unless one is already in leadership at STARTEK - then there is a willingness to promote from within.
Cons
There is so much focus on customer service and doing what the client desires, that STARTEK dismisses the importance of its most valuable asset - its employees. It would serve STARTEK better to work with its clients to develop not only a strong brand for the client, but also an environment that truly is supportive of its employees, even in the times when the clients desires are conflicting with the work environment STARTEK has set up.
