Pros

StarTek Mansfield is better than other call centers. People there care about me and want me to have a good day.

Cons

Sometimes the calls are difficult or you deal with an angry customer, but I haven't had a job yet where that isn't the case. And dealing with an angry customer over the phone us a lot easier than dealing with an angry table when you're working at a restaurant!

Pros

I get some experience that I can put on a resume, I get a regular paycheck

Cons

The advencement opportunities are not worth what they pay, The phone queue keeps getting messed up and sending calls that agents can't comlete because of lack of training/access for call type, Nearly impossible to get schedule changed

Pros

My fellow colleagues. We are all in the same boat. Everyone of them care about one another and helping out because Lord knows the supervisors don't.

Cons

$9.00/hr. Isn't worth it. For what they put us through. They are a call center and the suits do not know how to communicate with the labor to let us know of changes we may see or deal with. They switch LOB on us w/o warning. They put people's lives at risk when weather is bad by not letting us leave without penalty but they don't reward those who stay with higher pay. We get pizza. Worth the risk? Under appreciate everything we do. Supervisors are very vindictive. Especially one. Everyone hopes she dies. Yet she is rewarded all the time. Going by script doesn't improve quality. 11 minutes per call. Quality is how you keep customers and keep them happy. Quantity is how to lose them.
