Pros

Starbucks offers a great benefits package with quality of life. Their minimum hours work requirement is 40/week. The people that I worked with were great. Starbucks was very proactive with results from their partner view surveys, trying to close the gap with dissatisfied partners and upper management.

Cons

There are certainly favorites within the ranks and the decisions made reflects that attitude. Starbucks is going in the opposite direction with their culture. It is going towards all about the numbers and less about the people. Recognition of partners has gone way down. Its an all or nothing attitude.

Pros

It's fun to work here. Management (at least at my store) was amazing. A free pound of coffee every week. Free drinks while you're working Discount

Cons

Not a ton of upward mobility, but that is expected in retail. Some stores are not so fun to work at.
