Pros

The benefits were great, along with the exposure to successful business professionals.

Cons

In my experience at my store employees played favorites. I was looked over for a promotion for a new employee who was not qualified for the position. Make sure that your personality fits with the manager/employees of the which includes location and pace.

Pros

Great friends, fun, and customers. A great place to grow as an individual and to really learn how to communicate and express yourself with others.

Cons

It is very hard to get a promotion. Basically it all depends on your manager and if you are a "favorite" or not. Even the best of baristas with degrees are passed on, for someone without an education who enjoys the same activies as the store manager.
