Pros

The offices have good people to work with. Flexibility with location and working from home. Teamwork is encouraged.

Cons

Lack of support when transitioning into the Stantec way from a purchased firm. Personal growth is stunted as non-Stantec experience is not taken into account during the review/re-aligning process. Lack of collaboration between disciplines.

Pros

Benefits are very good and have not gone way of pressures of federal suggested programs. Very strong growth and good company stock options

Cons

Un-organized Corporation. There is a lot of growth and leadership is focused on populating a very diluted organizational chart. It appears that acquisitions are with promises of leadership so some positions are "fabricated"

Pros

Flexible hours were very nice. Monthly lunch meetings to discuss how the business were doing were beneficial to all.

Cons

If you can't create your own billable work, you almost have to beg for it, especially when the supervisors are trying to increase their own billable hours.
