Pros

stability. You have flexibility in that as long as you follow the proper protocol properly you will be fine. Frustrated, but fine.

Cons

vanilla, banal, soulless. Frustrating in that they make you believe you have a degree of autonomy when in reality you do not.

Pros

Company really takes care of you. You get the feeling that corporate cares about it's employees. Paid time off between Xmas and New Year's is a huge bonus! The company and management has a huge focus on employee development, although it's a DIY philosophy.

Cons

Management can be mediocre or absent (physically). The working attitude of the office (and the company) is to maximize the billable hours. Projects aren't extremely interesting or high exposure. Mentoring isn't a huge thing here. The office relies on autonomy and learning from your own mistakes as opposed to managers imparting knowledge.

Flexible hours. Accommodating of family. Friendly employees. Low stress apart from occasional tight deadlines.

Cons

Talented staff have left for higher compensation with little effort to retain them. Losing engaging work from this decline. Most staff receive same below average raises regardless of productivity or performance. No HR on site.
