      1. Spaceship expectations 2. Spaceship-level schedules (tight and worth $$$$$$$$$$$$$) 3. Extraordinarily stressful 4. Insanely smart people 5. Limitless engineering work that can eat your entire life (pro or con, depending)

      Pros

      -Get to work on some of the most exciting and cutting-edge projects in the world. -Engineers are given lots of responsibility and freedom. -Employees are promoted and acknowledged based on merit, not tenure.

      Cons

      -People complain about long hours, but nobody forces you to stay for 10-12 hours a day. People stay because they love the work they're doing. -Many technicians are devoted to production, so techs devoted to R&D are limited, often leading to outsourcing for parts which increases cost and leadtime
