Pros

The people who work here are almost all young and very passionate about their work. Seeing the launches from the interior of SpaceX is spectacular, and some of the most memorable parts of the summer. The food here is great but at the same time cheap. They have a lot of very healthy options. The coffee here is free, and tastes great (which is a stark contrast to other places I have interned). I feel like everything I work on is meaningful.

Cons

SpaceX can be stressful. The "over-achiever" personality is a common one here. Everyone wants to do more, and excel. It can make for a tough transition from outside of SpaceX.

Pros

The best things about working here is the culture, food, and the opportunities an intern has here. This is the place you want to be if you want to work hard and learn a lot. Perfect internship opportunity.

Cons

You never have time to yourself. I couldn't imagine the responsibility of full-time hovering over you here. Like I said before if you want work they will give it you. But keep in mind the cost of your work on your life.

Pros

Of the many internships I've had, SpaceX gives interns the most responsibility. By the time I am finishing up my second round of interning I am basically a full time engineer that has been given products that I am responsible for. It's an amazing thing to have that kind of ownership as an intern. It's a huge drive to do amazing work.

Cons

The only real Con for me is the expense of living in the area. Coming from a small town and a small college I find the price of everything absolutely ludicrous.
