Pros

Great place to work, okay place to intern. People you work with are very knowledgeable and committed. It's nice to have people around you who are equally committed to success.

Cons

Interns not given nearly as much responsibility as most interns will tell you, and the work is not as interesting as they'll tell you. Easily possible to get an excellent review having done very little. A lot of back patting about how hard interns work when they don't do much at all... Most tasks given are slight modifications and redesigns where the re-designing is already essentially done.

Pros

SpaceX is a highly motivated environment and there is plenty of good moral to vibe off of. As an engineer, i get to work with some of the most skilled and competent technicians i have ever worked with. Food and massage benefits are pretty awesome too.

Cons

Since everyone works so hard and long, its impossible to stand out for doing great work.

Pros

Fast pace work environment and aggressive, problem-solving approach. Perks like low cost food and free coffee, etc. Encouraged to develop in my career. Meet and work with lots people. Lots of highly skilled, smart individuals and good team players. You will never get bored, and you will find many opportunities to try new things and develop yourself in many ways. Lots of encouragement here to be provided the resources you need to do your job (on an individual basis).

Cons

The company is getting big and each employee is losing sight of the goals. This isn't entirely the fault of having more employees, but each department is pretty independent in how they meet needs. Capital funding is kind of arbitrary and rarely really anticipates needs. There is too much reactionary approach to solving problems. We are fast, but we can't keep with ourselves sometimes. Compensation is not particularly competitive, especially for engineering positions.
