Pros

Great food and great group of people to work with. You will be pushed to do great things and have a hand in changing the course to history. All the time I am constantly surprised at how mgmt continues to find ways to compensate its workers. They do many things to compensate the team members when they don't have to. I see myself working here for a long time to come.

Cons

Can't think of anything at the time. Sometimes parking sucks. In my position I get to do new challenges, I like this part of the job. Occasionally the food is cold but still very good and tasty.

Pros

Every day is a new learning experience, every day you can effect change in the company. It's a relatively wide open organization where anyone can help anywhere, given they have time. Decisions are made by what's best technologically rather than what's been done in industry historically. Everyone is extremely intelligent and is highly motivated. No one thinks of it as just a job.

Cons

No one thinks of it as just a job. Work/life balance is blurred. Long-term opportunities for career growth must be sought out by the employee and aren't outlined well by the company. Salary is good for college grads but is not competitive over the long term.

A hard gig, but really meaningful work

Pros

"You get two weeks to say you're new, and then you're the expert." That was one of the first things I heard, and it was true -- for the responsibilities, for the amount of work, and for the consequences. You're working with incredibly bright people on some really tricky problems that always need an answer yesterday; and you'll eventually get proficient in the race between accuracy, rigor, and time. But people almost always have the right end-goal in mind; and they don't let ego or schedule drive best engineering practice and judgment.

Cons

The pressure is pretty intense, and it takes a lot of willpower to enforce a work-life balance -- it's manageable, but barely.
