      Pros

      Watching what you build soar into space is a huge reward. Most people use SpaceX as a resume stepping stool. Elon is a pretty awesome guy, but don't expect to talk to him. Work is challenging and you have to think outside the box. We build rockets and spacecraft. We just put a car into space. How else can I describe it??

      Cons

      The food.....it's just....weird. Work/life balance. If you want to just come in and work a regular schedule, you won't last. Overtime is slowly going away for some teams. I really hate seeing quality employees leave for other companies. Managers who manage by spreadsheets.

      Pros

      The company mission is second to none. We're constantly pushing the envelope in aerospace with the goal toward getting humanity to Mars and you get a sense of that every day. Individuals have great power to drive change within the company.

      Cons

      Fast pace leads to a high stress environment. Individual responsibilities can be high and there are many single points of failure in terms of individuals with critical domain knowledge in their head. Teams are often disconnected from each other, focused on their own problems. The overall picture can be missed as a result of this.

      Pros

      There is not a lot of red-tape to prevent you from getting actual work done. Everyone here is trusted to make smart decisions so we spend time focusing on the goal rather than getting hung up on the little things. Everyone here is approachable and relaxed so it makes the workplace feel like somewhere you actually want to be every day. So many Perks: Frozen Yogurt Bar Coffee Bar Unlimited Drinks Valet Parking Subsidised Lunch

      Cons

      The output of every person seems like 2-3 times more than anywhere I've ever worked. Partially because it is expected and partially because everyone loves what they do.
