      Pros

      SpaceX has a bunch of motivated, smart people doing exciting work. It's a great place to work for those who enjoy challenges. It's a place where you can be part of a growing business with financial rewards and still work towards amazing, historic goals.

      Cons

      The pace of work is challenging, and while the hours are not necessarily worse than a lot of other companies, this is not a 9 to 5 job. The company is starting to have some "big company" hassles in some areas.

      Pros

      Very meaningful work. Whatever you're working on, you feel like you're contributing to something important. You get a lot of respect for the work you do among your peers. You get to learn and talk to a lot of very interesting and smart people

      Cons

      Lots of long hours. Some people work weekends, but interns generally don't. If you can handle an average of 50 hours a week, you should be fine. Expect to get paid either the same or less than your peers. I can't think of anyone that is in my same field that gets paid less as an intern.

      - Great people to wok with. Very smart and inspiring individuals - Extremely hands-on and a good mix of office work and field work - Rockets are super cool - Your work actually impacts the company and its product

      Cons

      - Poor work/life balance, but it's made very clear coming into this that its expected
