Pros

Projects that you work on are revolutionary in aerospace. SpaceX has been trending with making history at least once a year and some times multiple times in a year. We also get mission patches with our seniority number stitched into the patch.

Cons

Long hours. It takes a lot of commitment to reach for the stars. That tends to equate to a lot of work hours and why some people complain about the work-life balance. It's a trade-off. Although I consider the long hours a negative, it's a price I'm willing to pay for colonizing Mars.
