      High energy, create groundbreaking tech! Work with smart people. Pushing the state of the art company culture. Chance to change an industry. Amazing olace

      Cons

      Level of management effectiveness varies greatyly depending on where you are in the organization. They key positions in the company are populated so with a few exceptions there wont be much room for new hire advancement.

      Pros

      There is no greater mission, no more important task for humanity than to create internal redundancy in our species. There is also no greater engineering challenge a human will face than working on these systems and methods.

      Cons

      Working for SpaceX is a service to all of humanity, you should see it as such. The trip to Mars and beyond is not easy, and requires you and your family sacrifice much of your "spare" time for this goal. You will likely burn out, but expect this. And returning after a 1-2 hiatus at a "boring" job is actually pretty normal.
