Not for everybody

Pros

Cool projects, real engineering, very hands-on and fast, no bureaucracy, things get implemented right away.

Cons

They'll work you to death here. If you are looking for a work-life balance you came to the wrong place. You will work all the time. Your wife will hate you. Your kids will barely see you. This is a job for young single engineers in their 20-ties. it requires 100% commitment, you can pretty much forget about everything else in life besides your job.

Pros

Working around orbital class rockets

Cons

Statements below are company wide: Not fun anymore Rampant elitism HR is a nightmare You’re a bottom feeder if you’re not management All benefits getting cut left and right Very little security Food went downhill Lowest pay in the industry You’ll work hard, burn out, and get fired Finger pointing No team work (anymore) Layoffs have everyone frightened Nobody to talk to about your concerns Working across departments is impossible Seems like nobody takes anything seriously anymore

Not Great for Supply Chain

Pros

Cool Company Fast Paced Awesome Mission More Exciting than most places You Get Stock Health Care is Good

Cons

Your career will not progress here if you're in supply chain. Throw out all the skills and supply chain practices you've learned before and get ready to just expedite and adapt to last minute changes at all times. No need to be strategic or go outside the box, your only focus will be what is hot that day/week. Leadership doesn't care about employee growth as long as they keep getting their stock and salary. Extremely limited opportunity for growth, executive leadership is consistently getting rid of entry level leadership positions and absorbing them into management positions. They are now all quitting because of the stress and workload.
