Willingness of the company to try new things, take risks, and allow people to accomplish their objectives with minimal oversight is amazing.

Cons

A decent amount of time is spent reinventing the wheel / re-learning the same lesson (just in a slightly different context or program). This sometimes leads innovation and/or improvement, but just as often leads to headaches.

little or no bureaucracy, shared sense of drive to accomplish tasks, people are very friendly and supportive. Best idea (usually) wins no matter who it comes from.

Cons

Unreasonably long hours are expected and normal. Changing priorities and unreasonable timeline/expectations, a significant lack of respect for safety or rules.
