Pros

Getting to help build the largest satellite constellation in history. Pretty good flexibility - as an engineer, you can generally work your own schedule as long as you get the job done. Get to make complex decisions and learn on the fly.

Cons

Not much support with onboarding, can feel like you get tossed in the deep end. Work hours are inconsistent and can change on the drop of a hat depending if issues pop up, which they do.

Cool mission and smart people

Cons

Too much bossing around and pay is dumb. Everyone in the department is treated like temp workers. Half the people quit or get fired for little things. We're always short on staff. They make us work weekends with just 12 hours' notice. One manager is the problem but HR won't fix it even after lots of meetings
