Pros

There are lots of options as far as what to do and for employee growth

Cons

Those paths are too streamlined. If you want to get into management go into production. If you want to be a specialist, Go into development. Seemingly the only way to grow outside of these dedicated pipelines is to work extra hours when the minimum requirement is already 50 hrs per week. Over the last 5 years the company has become increasingly micromanaged all in the name of saving money and the hourly employees are the ones who suffer. Supervisors used to have more power to protect their team but that has been stripped away. Initially was preached around the company that you wouldn't get fired for making mistakes, because mistakes happen, but if you lied about it and had a lack of integrity about it you would get fired for that. Now they keep track of every mistake over a rolling period of time, and if you make too many you can get fired. Ultimately this system is left up to the leadership team. And if your reason for the mistake is unsatisfactory then you get points. A simple misunderstanding or dropping something is enough to warrant a point.

Pros

-Very exciting scope of work depending on your group -Immediate responsiblity for flight hardware depending on the org -Very nice officespace and decent benefits on site -Exceptional oppurtunity to venture into ample spaces of oppurtunity IF you are willing to sacrifice all you have to get good FAST to perform in that objective. Self-taught should be your expectation going in. -Rare oppurtunities for early engineers to quite literally take on all the responsibility and work they can possibly muster. If you are hungry for fast-paced design and ownership and willing to sacrifice your time in exchange, this is the place for you.

Cons

-You stay until the work is done, and the work is never done. -The divide between experienced engineers and new hires is often met with expectation that in opposition of mentorship, the individual is expected to figure it out largely on their own. Sparce resources, a swath of loose context and heavy-pressing workload at your back will be your cocktail to get going. Be ready to start the second half of your day when you leave work to mentor yourself.

Pros

• Innovative Environment: Every day brings something new. The pace of innovation here is unlike anything I’ve seen. • Growth Opportunities: I’ve learned more here in a few months than I have in years at other companies. • Inspiring Leadership: My leaders have been supportive, forward-thinking, and committed to the mission. • Team Culture: My coworkers have been fantastic—collaborative, driven, and helpful. • Mission-Driven Work: It’s incredibly motivating to be part of something bigger, pushing the boundaries of space exploration.

Cons

• Demanding Hours: Long days and weekend work can be challenging, especially for those balancing family life. • Fast-Paced Pressure: The pace is intense, and expectations are high—it’s not for everyone. • Work-Life Balance: Depending on the role, achieving balance can be difficult.
