Pros

Fast-paced environment with many opportunities to make a difference for those who are intelligent and motivated. Stock value is great.

Cons

Everything else!! Long hours, stressful situations, constantly changing management (and their goals), favoritism, ad-hoc systems and processes, inadequate office space and parking, location (Hawthorne) is a dump without amenities.

Pros

Never boring. Always tons of exciting new projects to work on. Get to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Great place for new engineers straight out of school to rapidly gain experience.

Cons

Always expected to work long hours. Its never about working for X amount of hours, its about completing your work. Constantly changing strategic direction can be difficult at times but heh that allows you to work on something new and exciting rather than just "doing the same old thing".
