The hours were crazy long, very strict 40 hour in-office policy enforced by middle management. 40 hours was usually not enough to stand out because some colleagues would work more than 12 hours a day. There was a mandatory all-hands the day before New Years Eve which was also a Saturday. Teams were broken up to focus on a few key projects, which makes sense, but employees who get transferred need to start all over again, possibly in an unfamiliar role. Wasn’t given much of a notice about performance/rule breaking, before I was let go one random day. Happened with other colleagues too.
