Pros
- The people you work with are most likely smarter than you, so you in turn absorb those traits. - You are given a lot of responsibility right off the bat depending on your area of expertise. - The feeling you get when you have contributed to a goal that is larger than anything in this world is amazing. - Management hierarchy is very flat which enables fluid conversation and rapid response to questions or concerns. This also encourages a very friendly culture among all groups.
Cons
- Work-Life balance is commonly stated as an issue here, but in all honesty, it's up to the individual to make this decision, not the company. If you work smarter, you are able to balance this VERY well while working at SpaceX.
