Pros

The job is very easy and the company makes it easy for you to provide the best customer service. There are no extensive rules or hierarchy requirements--you are very empowered to do what you think is best. You also get to take class for free!

Cons

It's taken very seriously, even though it's really just an exercise class. Some of the instructors can also be divas.

definite downside and anyone in facilities maintenance that also involves drywall work, patching, sanding, painting knows so well that to try to perform these simple tasks is almost impossible in a health club, members do not want to be inconvenienced, they pay good money for membership to then have to be inconvenienced with noise, paint, smell and especially dust. It is just ridiculous. Soulcycle doesn't understand this and would get better, more and top quality work completed by the technician if they allowed it to be done in the proper hours which is when club is closed. Especially so when you have to do maintenance roto all the drains and toilets in the bathrooms and you must wait for everyone to disperse, ladies bathrooms even worse.

Everyone who works in facilities here is having a direct impact on the SoulCycle experience for our riders. To facilitate this, we often work non traditional hours to avoid inconveniencing riders during their time at the studio. Furthermore, our facilities team is encouraged to work a manageable schedule unless its tending to an emergency. We apologize if you have felt uncomfortable with this practice at any time. Fun, Exciting, Community support, ride for free, fast paced, predictable tasks, good for people who are highly detail oriented, meet and work with awesome people

Cons

Can be hectic. The right manager can really make or break your experience. When it is good though, it is so good.
