      Pros

      Free coffee, bagels on Fridays.

      Cons

      No respect for work life balance. Managers don't think twice to giving more work "in addition to the 70 hour work week you already have" (yes direct quote from manager).

      Pros

      It was a good place to work for a short period of time

      Cons

      A work week of seven days and 70 hours was expected. Manufacturing was not performing and instead of holding this group accountable many work around were expected. High turnover and management was hired externally

      Pros

      Solvay is a large company with lots of opportunities to move around within the company. They are also environmentally focused.

      Cons

      US employees are second-class citizens, so don't expect to spend time with your family on US holidays as deadlines and calendars are based on Belgium holidays.
