Pros
I do always like to include positives in review for balance, however it is a genuine struggle to think of any. The only ones that come to mind are the discounts offered, however getting access to this can take months and is not something anyone will support you with or show you how to do.
Cons
- Very very poor induction/training. When I started the job I was placed in front of a computer and told to crack on. I had no handover, no supervision and the person who was acting as my line manager didn’t respond to any emails I sent. - Total lack of flexibility in working hours. - Very poor sickness policy - unpaid for the first 2 days. - Despite being admin staff, I was told I was unable to work from home because only management are allowed to do that. - I was unable to view my payslips for the first 2 months of employment and made to feel like an inconvenience when I chased it up several times. - HR were unwilling to support me in accessing my payslips as that is “a line manager’s job”. - In the place I worked, there were reports of bullying and the member of staff being bullied was told it was their fault for being negative.
