Pros

Slack has a very strong company culture. “Work hard and go home” is an essential part of working at Slack. Slack believes that is crucial that everyone recharges and reenergizes every day. People are always happy to help and sharing insights, it makes your day much easier.

Cons

Nothing to declare so far.

Pros

Benefits are fine. Some teams I think have work life balance, but others (like mine) have none .

Cons

- Salesforce acquisition terrible biztech experience (overall tech issues, duplicated calendars & email accounts, compensation plan mistakes, etc). Everyone is leaving and there's a massive loss of institutional knowledge. - Working in Slack sucks, it's exhausting and feels very reactive. Constant fire-fighting and extremely difficult to 'switch off' after hours. SO much anxiety, Slack as a platform was much more pleasant when used NOT at Slack. - Diversity sucks. No career opportunities.
