Pros

Nearly unlimited overtime If you're on duty, you don't have to go to the monthly assembly.

Cons

It's miserable. They can't keep people because it's miserable. Only day shift gets a meal. Night shift gets "boxed lunch," but other workers go through all the boxes and take things like chips, fries, and cookies, so every lunch has had other peoples' hands in it. Nights are supposed to get leftovers from day shift, but the day shift workers go back with tupperware after they clock out and take everything home. Shift supervisors are too busy undercutting each other to accomplish anything. Security is a joke. Mandated overtime, and supervisors who use it as punishment. Some shift supervisors turn off their radios and disappear for hours leaving you on your own. Lufthansa sold LSG in December 2020.

Pros

If you are looking for a relaxed work atmosphere, LSG is not the place. The business is, by necessity, stressful and fast paced. That being said, the people are great in all departments.

Cons

24/7 365 Operation, this place never sleeps.
