The Twilight Zone for sure

Pros

Good people who are dedicated to their jobs, otherwise they would leave. They don't stay because of the pay, and they certainly don't stay because they're respected or treated well.

Cons

No pay raises since 9/11. Only a select few are given pay increases, though for several years they company has given lip service to "trying" to work this issue out. Oddly, though, the executives get regular increases and huge bonuses. Executives need to come out of their cloistered area and talk to people. Better yet, LISTEN to people. Execs are completely tone deaf and insensitive to the low morale. NOT recommended as a place to work.

Pros

Some good people who want to do the right things.

Cons

Short term mentality. The airline industry is imploding and LSG will go with it. Poor senior management in the C-Suite. Poor leadership all around. Company is living in fear daily and it shows. Negative work environment.

Fear of layoffs

Business Outlook

Pros

The people are great and easy to make friendships with. Everyone seems to be concerned about each other.

Cons

Since the new owners took over in 2024, there’s been a ton of change. The company keeps doing small rounds of layoffs to “right-size” teams, but it feels like they’re cutting the people who actually do the work while hiring more managers. That’s left fewer people doing more work, and it’s definitely starting to take a toll on morale.
