Pros

Free meals with a variety of selection including vegetarian options to include beverages. Free shuttle service from work to the Rosemont stop on the blue line. Only provided at scheduled times if you miss one shuttle the next one comes by in an hour. Pays the bills if you keep to yourself and don't make waves.

Cons

Unpaid holidays unless you've been there over a year. Depending on your work area you can be keeping up with the work flow, unfortunately many workers will work through their paid breaks due to constant announcements by management stating their will be mandatory overtime. Thus when you return from your paid break you will be behind for no other reason than this consistent practice. To add ther is no mandatory overtime and you can finish the work with 45+minutes to go till quitting time. Unfortunately coworkers that work through their paid breaks don't mind doing so as to not risk the shuttle back to the cta, and are encouraged to do so since management positions are salaried and once work finishes they can leave although if an hourly paid worker leaves early it is seen as an accumulative infraction that can result in termination, same as if they were to clock in late. So the only winners in that scenario is management for exploiting the gullible that depend on public transportation. If English isn't your first language these type of workers are exploited as well as discriminated against. Because of this and many other reasons this is Not a job that promises or provides potential growth within the company due to the high employee turn over, it's basically a churn mechanism.

Pros

None, I mean none at all.

Cons

Poor salary expected to work 50hrs plus for less than national average for 40hrs. No training a figure it out system. Management and HR is incompetent, lazy and unprofessional. Needs new blood new ideas. The people that have been there for more than 10 years are just jaded individuals with antiquated ideas. I just got promoted and I regret ever taking this position 100%. It’s a blame culture environment.
