Pros

Get to work at an airport, right up next to airplanes. Get to talk with the flight crews. It's really an easy job

Cons

Driving a vehicle on KORD can be intimidating at first, while trying to do your job you have to stay out of the way of aircraft and emergency vehicles. Sometimes there is no time for breaks, just go go go

Pros

Pretty easy to get hired. Always hiring. Steady work with overtime usually available. Weekly paycheck. Free meals. Free uniforms with laundry service and new shoes every 6 months.

Cons

Union. Poor pay and once you top out that's it, no more raises. Revolving door of employees. Poor benefits. If you start in January it will be 5 yrs and 11 mos before you get 2 weeks vacation. 3 sick days a year. 5 holidays and Memorial Day is not one of them. Health coverage for self and spouse almost $400 for 80/20 coverage. It's all about the bottom line and not the employee.

too much on one person. breaks are not a requirement and are frowned on. training not good. too too much work on one human being they talk down at refugees but prefer them so they can hit on them
