Pros

free food, live insurance benefits, not discrimination

Cons

In the Orlando, Florida, facilities, the administrative disorder is almost total, the supervisors work without an efficient coordination, little attention in the quality of the products so in some occasions they have to be reworked due to errors in the supervision and bad orientations Disorder, labor indiscipline, supervisors have preferences with some workers who do what they want while others are forced to work all that has led to workers being unstable in their work, absences and abandonment of work, when supervisors come inspections show the employees of your preference, the chaos is total. They should replace all supervisors.

Pros

Good health insurance and decent benefits

Cons

Union shop (local 1) so the management is constantly trying to write people up so when they are actually unhappy with an employee they can fire them and get away with it. Micromanagement to the extreme. To enter the ORD facilities you have to walk up and down two staircases. At the top and bottom are a list of 8 rules to follow when walking on stairs. I’ve been yelled at because I used the handhold bar on the back of the truck as it was designed, rather than use the more unsafe LSG Sky Chefs approved method to get in and out of trucks. When I quit, they refused to pay my stored vacation time in violation of state law. (Now in arbitration.)

Pros

Health Benefits and a lot of good people in the field.

Cons

Hired for expertise and skills; however, after starting, you are no longer considered knowledgeable. You are belittled, micro-managed, blamed for management not knowing information,. You end up with a ton of responsibility but will have no authority to do anything. Discriminating comments routinely made regarding workers over a certain age. Hiring managers will make promises that they cannot keep, or have no intention of keeping, so if you choose to accept an offer, get everything in writing first.
