Pros

The company gives you nice Gucci clothes as the uniform, you have to be a size 0-6, which was not fair for another employee. She needed to buy her own clothes because she was a size 10. However great benefits

Cons

Wacky hours 2pm-11pm, 4am-2pm, very random. They fly you to Miami all the time for training, not much time given if you have to coordinate family care.

We are pleased to hear that you’re satisfied with the company benefits that we provide and the uniforms. Although they are not Gucci, we agree, the quality is exceptional! Unfortunately, we were not made aware of any employees that needed to purchase their own clothing for work. At Sixt, we do everything in our power to make sure that employees are properly accommodated with their uniform size. Our Airport locations are typically 24 hours depending on the size of the location. Yes, sometimes, managers are expected to work unusual shifts to accommodate their employees and properly manage their branch. Additionally, managers are given at least one months’ notice if there is training classes they need to attend. This ensures that we provide adequate time for all managers to make necessary arrangements. However, there may be instances where there are sudden meetings that require the manager’s attendance as well, and in these instances, they are usually day trips. We understand the inconvenience, but sometimes we need the expertise of certain managers and we have to call on you to join us in Ft. Lauderdale. Finally, depending on the position employees receive either classroom training or on the job training. Most managers go through a six month to one year training period (depending on experience level) where they shadow and perform all duties they are expected to execute when they are Branch Managers. Rental Sales Agents have a week of classroom training with our corporate trainers at headquarters, they also receive on the job training the weeks following training, and have consistent coaching regarding their sales from the Regional Sales Performance Managers on site. If you have any additional concerns or would like to discuss the above information further, we encourage you to contact Gaddy Fernandez! She can be reached at 954-874-1793. Thank you again for providing feedback for the company.

Pros

Sixt has a great company culture and celebrate success. They are growing a lot across the US and there is room for growth. They have nice locations and branches and provide good customer service.

Cons

You will have to work a lot of hours in any job and a lot of the time everything changes completely. There is no work/ life balance and no recognition when you do a good job. There are a lot of young managers that are not trained to manage people and can not handle different situations.

Thank for taking the time to review Sixt. We are glad that you enjoyed the culture and five star customer service that our growing company provides. At Sixt we definitely encourage a work life balance for all employees. Depending on the position that you are in, the role may become more demanding. For instance, a Branch Manager will have to work longer hours as opposed to a Rental Sales Agent. However, Sixt does reward hard work and effort through commission, promotions, and feedback from our executives, Regional/Area Branch Managers, and Regional Sales Performance Managers. We try our best to discuss challenges and recognize great work on a weekly and daily basis through conference calls, Sixt social media, emails, etc. Additionally, our more entry level Branch Managers go through an extensive one year training program to learn the business from the ground up. All trainees are put through exit assessments to gage their knowledge, and if needed they will receive additional training or become a Junior Branch Manager until we feel they are completely ready for the challenge of managing their own branch. If you feel that you would like to discuss these concerns further, please contact our Vice President of Human Resources at 954-874-1793.
